A memory of Sue from our wedding day and beyond

Created by Tom 4 years ago
Everyone who knew Sue, will testify to this, Sue brought both love and sunshine into a room simply by being there.
We first noticed this strange, but wonderful phenomena on the morning of the day after we were married. As you can imagine we were both absolutely shattered after, what for us was, a very hectic yet wonderful day, as we had catered for our own wedding Breakfast and evening Party, in ways that suited our children’s taste and needs, so that they were totally included in the whole day.
We were awoken, later the following day, by Morning tea made by Sue, who then proceeded to busy herself taking care of us, so that we could both recover from the day before, and we could also cope with our other guests who had slept over following the Party.
We had such an enjoyable time that we didn’t leave for our honeymoon in Cornwall, for another three days.
We will undoubtedly miss Sue, but it will take years for the fact that she has gone on ahead of us, to sink in, as ours was a long term friendship that could see us not contacting each other for years, and yet as soon as we spoke, the laughter and sunshine was immediately there, as if we had only just spoken the day before.
We have no doubts that we will see each other again, and it will be just the same, filled with sunshine and laughter, except it will be in a different location.
All of our love to you Sue, until that day we meet again.
Love and hugs, Valerie and Tom. X(X)X(X)
